Mudarraj
Overview
Mudarraj gathers university academies and their lecturers in one place. Each academy opens its own lecture hall, and courses are organised by university, faculty, year and semester, with specialised halls for medicine and engineering. Students pick their year and term, buy a single course or a whole-semester bundle that includes lectures added later, and study on phone or laptop, resuming exactly where they stopped.
The Challenge
Students who study with private academies juggle a different site or group for each one, and a recorded lecture is easy to copy once it is shared. Payment also has to work for students who may not hold a bank card.
Our Solution
A multi-tenant platform with one account across every academy. Lectures stream from Cloudflare Stream through signed links with a personal watermark, live rooms run on LiveKit, and Paymob takes cards, mobile wallets and Fawry codes. Notes link back to the exact moment in a lecture, and academies can offer consultation bookings alongside their courses.
Results
Live at mudarraj.devya.dev in Arabic and English, with Arabic as the default, and specialised halls for medical and engineering schools. Native Android and iOS student apps are in development in the same repository.
