Moving Accounting
Overview
Moving Accounting keeps a company's accounts, invoices and tax in one set of books. An invoice is issued once: it is signed and sent to the tax authority, posts its own entry and feeds the VAT return, and it never changes afterwards — corrections are credit and debit notes. Every report, from the trial balance to the cash flow, reads the same posted entries, so no figure disagrees with the books.
The Challenge
Many businesses issue tax invoices in one tool, keep the books in another and assemble the VAT return in a spreadsheet. Branch sales get typed in twice, and an invoice edited after it was issued is exactly what a tax review picks up.
Our Solution
A full ledger with period and year-end close, receivables and payables with ageing, bank statement import with matching rules and reconciliation, fixed assets with depreciation, budgets, second-person approval, foreign currencies and cost centres. In Saudi Arabia it connects to ZATCA Fatoora Phase 2; in Egypt it signs and sends ETA e-invoices and e-receipts. Moving POS — or any POS with its own key — posts one entry per branch per day.
Results
Live at accounting.movingsystems.tech for Egypt and Saudi Arabia, with a 14-day free trial and no card. Each company gets its own system and its own database. Paid plans differ only in size, include e-invoicing and onboarding, and are priced per company rather than per branch.
