Eristic
Overview
Eristic puts debaters, students, lawyers and negotiators against opponents that argue in bad faith deliberately — moving goalposts, gish gallops, loaded questions and false deadlines. Each tactic is named as it lands, or the player calls it in Blind mode; every exchange is scored, and the debate ends with a debrief and one drill for next time. Opponents attack arguments, never identities or real people.
The Challenge
Rebuttal is usually practised against fair opponents, so the moves that derail a real debate, a cross-examination or a negotiation are met for the first time when they count. Debate coaches have no easy way to assign that practice to a whole class and see who is improving.
Our Solution
An arena that streams each opponent's turn as it is written, with personas such as the Prosecutor and the Closer, any motion, either side and three difficulty levels. Classroom seats come with a join code, assignments and per-student progress, and the whole product runs in English and Arabic, right-to-left included.
